In the past few days, a batch of orders for Yellow River trucks for logistics companies are being stepped up at the Sinotruck Intelligent Network (new energy) heavy truck park in Jinan, Voice of China said in the report.
Walking into the welding shop here, you can hardly see the workers or hear the hammering and clanging of electric welding.
The project manager of the factory project team told reporters that most of the processes in the workshop are completed by the world’s most advanced intelligent flexible production line.
Project manager: “There are 109 robots and 206 AGVs. They only need to place the materials in the corresponding positions according to the order requirements, and the middle part is all completed by robots, which realizes the flexible production of the whole series of products.”
At the end of last year, a new generation of Yellow River heavy truck just off the line, it became the new favorite of the high-end heavy truck market.
So far this year, the enterprise has been at full capacity, project administrators say.
Project manager: “In the future, our new Yellow River model will also be applied to the most advanced technologies such as new energy and unmanned driving, upgrading from our original understanding of a single transportation vehicle to a green product featuring new energy and intelligent network.”
In the first four months of this year, Sinotruk sold 130,000 heavy trucks, up more than 90 per cent.
