The Fuel Water Corrodes The Fuel Injector, Which Is Actually Related To Urea

Every data stream, every fault code and every fault phenomenon are telling their own “story”. This story needs people to understand, listen and interpret. Of course, it needs people to repair it; In this issue, xiaorail will interpret a strange “story” for you.

  • The display system is normal without fault code. At the same time, observe that the water in oil fault lamp on the instrument panel is on.
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • If there is water in the oil fault, it may lead to engine weakness; Next, detect the water content fault in the oil.
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • It is found that the water in oil sensor contains a lot of water. Drain the water in the sensor, power on and off the key, and the water in oil fault light goes out.
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • Let the master go out for test run and read the driving data stream at the same time.
  •
  • From the data flow, no exception is found; At the same time, the driver reported that the fault of water in the oil often occurs recently, and suspected whether there was a problem with the oil.
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • It can be seen from the figure that the fuel has changed color. It can be inferred that it is caused by the coolant entering the fuel tank.
  • The position that will cause coolant to enter the fuel tank is generally the copper sleeve of fuel injector, the connection between cylinder block oil passage and coolant passage.
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • Disassemble the engine and remove the copper sleeve of fuel injector. It is found that six copper sleeves are corroded, and the copper sleeves of cylinder 1 and cylinder 2 are cracked; Copper sleeve corrosion is the main cause of coolant entering the fuel tank. During disassembly, I smelled peculiar smell in the coolant. It is suspected that the coolant has deteriorated, resulting in corrosion of the copper sleeve.
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • Clean the fuel tank after replacement.
  • The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea
  • After completion, let the driver out of the sports car and the fault is removed.
  • After the vehicle has been running for one month, the power is insufficient again and the fault light containing water in the oil is on. Use a diagnostic expert to read the fault code and data flow. The situation is the same as the last time. Check the fuel tank and find that the coolant enters the fuel tank again. When disassembling the engine, the copper sleeve of fuel injector is corroded.

Maintenance Thinking Of The Fuel:

The small rail is also the first time to see this kind of fault of repeated corrosion of the copper sleeve of the fuel injector. I have no direction here .

When I put the cooling water, I seem to smell urea. Is urea in the cooling water? There is only one place where urea enters the coolant, that is, the urea tank. Next, check the urea tank and check the urea level sensor.

The Fuel Water Corrodes The Fuel Injector, Which Is Actually Related To Urea (4)

It was found that the urea level sensor had cracks, resulting in the mixing of coolant and urea solution, so that part of urea solution entered the cooling water channel.

The Fuel Water Corrodes The Fuel Injector, Which Is Actually Related To Urea (5)

When coolant enters the urea tank, it will dilute urea. At this time, it may report faults exceeding 5 and 7, but this time it has not been reported. Asked the driver if the car burned urea. The driver said that the car has not burned urea. The urea solution has not been added for a long time, but the power has not been affected, indicating that the after-treatment of the car has been shielded.

The Fuel Water Corrodes The Fuel Injector, Which Is Actually Related To Urea (6)

After replacing the sensor, clean the urea tank and fuel tank and let the driver go out of the sports car again. The fault did not reappear and the fault was repaired of the fuel.

The Fuel Water Corrodes The Fuel Injector, Which Is Actually Related To Urea (7)
  • The liquid level sensor is damaged, resulting in urea entering the coolant. The urea entering the coolant corrodes the copper sleeve of the fuel injector. The copper sleeve of the fuel injector is damaged, resulting in coolant entering the fuel tank. The water in the fuel tank leads to insufficient engine power.
  • Here is another hidden problem that I want to talk to you about; In this case, the liquid level sensor is damaged, and the urea enters the coolant. At the same time, the coolant also enters the urea tank. The coolant dilutes the urea. Under normal circumstances, the fault of exceeding five and exceeding seven will be reported. However, in this case, it is not reported because the vehicle brushed the data processed after the screen, resulting in no relevant fault, It prolongs our time to solve the problem.
  • If the system is normal, the troubleshooting will be relatively simple. For many shielded data, urea will not build pressure and report fault codes, but the heating function is not shielded, that is to say, the cooling water valve of urea tank will still open, resulting in urea entering the coolant.

Lubricating Oil

R134a is an integral part of the air conditioning lubrication system. PAG lubricating oil is mixed with R134a and circulated in the air conditioning system.

The fuel water corrodes the fuel injector, which is actually related to urea

be careful:

1) Do not turn on the air conditioner without refrigerant, because no lubricating oil will cause damage to the compressor and other internal components.

2) In the use of air conditioner, only the specified lubricating oil shall be used. For example, a swashplate compressor uses SP-20 PAG oil.

3) Do not splash PAG lubricating oil on the skin. Rinse immediately with water.

4) Do not breathe in the mixture of PAG lubricating oil and R134a.

5) PAG lubricating oil is easy to volatilize. Open the jar only when in use and screw on the lid immediately after use.
