The engine of abnormal digestion of lubricating oil

When the car travels a certain mileage, the instrument panel quickly shows that the lubricating oil is insufficient. There are usually three reasons:
1. There may be a problem with the sealing of engine piston, resulting in excessive clearance between the piston and the cylinder wall and oil burning
2. parts may be seriously worn, resulting in excessive clearance between parts, resulting in different consumption of lubricating oil
3. The lubricating oil used does not meet the standard, resulting in abnormal oil consumption

During operation, the coolant temperature is easy to be too high. Once the cooling temperature exceeds the normal value, engine cannot dissipate heat normally, which will cause to overheat and affect the normal operation of the engine. The main reasons for the abnormal operation of the cooling system: thermostat failure, radiator failure, fan failure, water tank blockage, etc.
The instrument panel of the car indicates that if the coolant temperature is abnormal, stop the car for inspection to see if the coolant leaks. It should be noted that when the vehicle is hot, it cannot be shut down immediately, the engine nor can it be filled with coolant immediately. Instead, it can be operated after engine temperature is normal. If there is a lot of coolant, the cooling fault of engine thermostat and fan should be eliminated.

Affected by the high temperature of the engine, the wires around it are easy to be charred or coking, emitting a pungent smell. It is also possible to apply a large amount of lubricating grease during maintenance, which will produce odor with the increase of engine temperature. If the car is found to have pungent smell or burning smell during driving, it shall be stopped immediately to check whether there are lines softened or burnt around engine. The burnt or short-circuit lines shall be repaired in time to avoid greater safety accidents. If there is still peculiar smell after troubleshooting the circuit fault, consider whether the oil attached to engine surface, foreign matter volatilization or combustion.

After normal combustion, the color of exhaust gas should be colorless, and if fails, the color of exhaust gas will also change.
1. The tail gas is black because the fuel is not fully burned. Check the sensors related to air intake;
2. If the fuel does not meet the combustion standard, or the water content in the gasoline will emit white tail gas, check the spark plug fault and fuel quality;
3. The tail gas is blue, which may be caused by excessive wear of piston ring or matching of oil ring, resulting in oil channeling up and entering the combustion chamber, or the oil seeping from the valve guide participates in combustion. Check the spark plug or valve oil seal. If there is a problem, check it in time and replace it with a new one if necessary.
