Today I’m here to discuss with you a little experience in the maintenance and repair of automobile gearbox.
  • Take the most widely assembled fast 12 speed gearbox on the market. When the manufacturer comes out, most of the main gearbox is equipped with synchronizers. Due to long-time operation, high horsepower torque, improper use of overload and overload, and some do not change the gear oil once a few years, it is very easy to cause damage to the synchronizers and gears in the gearbox.

  • According to the normal use rules, the gear oil should be changed every 50000-80000 kilometers. I personally suggest that the gear oil should be replaced once a year, and the label should meet the local climate and temperature conditions, or the climate and temperature conditions of the place where I often run. The weather in the north is cold and it is difficult to start in winter. 90 gear oil can be selected. 140 gear oil can be considered in the south.
  • Of course, no matter how good a car is, it can’t avoid damage due to various objective reasons. In addition, during the maintenance process, attention must be paid to the clearance of each adjusting pad, because the two shaft gears are suspended teeth (unlike the previous fried dough twist bearing with a secondary shaft and a two shaft). The clearance between each gear and the adjusting pad should be kept at 0.2—0.4mm. Excessive clearance will cause individual gears to fall out of gear, or the adjusting pad is broken. On the contrary, the clearance is too small or there is no clearance, It will also cause insufficient lubrication, burn out the adjusting pad and the long key of the second shaft, cause the front and rear serial positions of the gears, and may also cause gear beating or the gear cannot be removed.
  • There is also the auxiliary gearbox, that is, the high and low gears in the operation process. Remember, remember, don’t slide in neutral gear when going downhill, because the lubrication of the gearbox gear is splash lubrication. The lubricating oil brought by the engine when idling is far from enough for your lubrication requirements of sliding in neutral gear at high speed.

  • When the car is driving at high speed, you must not change the high-grade and low-grade handball into the low-speed area, which is very easy to cause excessive wear of the high-grade and low-grade synchronizer, or the low-speed ring kicks and breaks, and then hang in the low-speed area without walking.
