Air dryer is one of the most important parts commonly used in trucks, as important mechanical equipment and accessories that vaporize and escape the moisture (generally refers to moisture or other volatile liquid components) in materials by heating to obtain solid materials with specified moisture content.
In the truck’s compressed air power control system, an air compressor is used as a high-pressure air source to generate compressed air, which acts on the vehicle’s braking system or suspension device.
Because the generated compressed air contains moisture and tiny impurities that cannot be filtered by general filtering devices, as well as the oil mist and droplets brought by the compressed air during the compression process and through the conveying pipeline, the pneumatic system of the vehicle is easily mixed into the small impurities, oil droplets and water in the compressed air not only pollute the pneumatic system pipelines but also cause the system components to rust and deteriorate, reducing the service life of the pneumatic device.
What’s more serious is that when the pneumatic system is cold and used under certain conditions, the moisture in the compressed air will condense in the passage, block the pipeline and block the movement of the components, which will cause the system to malfunction and reduce reliability.
Therefore, an air dryer is more important. So, install an air dryer to absorb moisture from the air entering the truck’s pipeline.
